A day at the farm

No better way to finish the summer break than a day out at the farm!

A fact about me is that I absolutely loveeeeee sheep! Ever since I was born I’ve had sheep teddies as gifts, lamb designed cakes… You name it! I feel like it’s my spirit animal to be honest haha ๐Ÿ˜†

I stayed around K’s house the other day, but he was working the next morning… So his brothers girlfriend and I decided to have a girls day out at the farm! Best idea everrrr, am I righttt?!

Pretty soon after making our decision to go to a farm, we set off ๐Ÿ˜€ 20 odd minutes later we arrived at West Lodge Farm.

Of course I had to bring Treacle along… I was pretty surprised you was allowed to bring dogs??? They said as long as she doesn’t cause any upset to the animals it would be A-OK! Elee and I brought some food to feed the animals and we started our adventure around the farm.

The first animals that we came across we’re the “little” animals like; rabbits, chickens, guinea pigs, ducks… All of them we’re pretty intrigued by Treacle, apart from the geese. They hateeed her!

We followed the path around to find more animals, and straight away I spotted sheep!!! I went running over to them and took sooo many photos. I swear one of them was smiling at meeee.

As soon as the flock of sheep saw us they came running over, making sooo much noise ๐Ÿ˜‚

Once all of the sheep made it over to the fence and we’d fed them all the food they wanted and I’d taken as many photos as I wanted… I looked up and saw the most cutest lambs further back in the field! I have never been so excited, I was literally “awing”.

As we started walking around the pen we saw some blue painted arrows that said they would lead us to a witches hut. On the way following the arrows we came arrows many little Fairy homes.

Finally after walking up and down the steepest stairs I have ever walked on, we made it to the witches hut! It was small and cute, with mirrored windows which reflected onto the woods. The door had a tiny “peep hole” that we looked into, to find a little mini village inside (I think?? it was I bit hard to make out what it was inside).

We headed to the gift shop before our adventure had to come to an end. I tried not to spend too much money, but there was just sooo many cute little farm things to buy! One of the first things I spotted that I knew I just had to purchase was… a lamb finger puppet! I know “What on earth do I need a finger puppet for?”, I don’t even know ๐Ÿ˜‚. But I just had to buy it,ย hadddddd tooo!ย

I have the most biggest obsession with cactus’s and growing my own plants. Another purchase I made was a pair of crystals, I thought they would look really cute in one of my pots as a bit of decoration. I was thinking of writing a blog about my plants and how I care for them, even a possible ‘Plant Diary’ as I have started growing plants from seeds and it has been pretty interesting watching them grow… Let me know if you would like that style or type of blog?

We had such a lovely day at the farm ๐Ÿ˜Š. Spontaneous days are my favourite kind of days! What’s yours?
